here s something to stir the loins of any discerning disco dj: a studio hook-up between veteran producer felix dickinson (fresh from his much-loved outing on futureboogie recordings), horse meat disco and one-time dfa man (and renowned multi-instrumentalist) marcus marr. there s an additional contributor, too: a mystery (presumably big-name) vocalist whose talk-box heavy delivery sits somewhere between prince, george clinton and pharrell. the track itself is something of a summer anthem in the making - an immaculately produced p-funk jam with the additional benefit of a shuffling, house-friendly groove. no details on how many copies have been pressed, either way, you d be well advised to snap up a copy while you still can.

>how deep is your love< is the first single from the raptures forthcoming album in the grace of your love, their first full length release on the dfa label. the record was recorded in brooklyn and paris, france, and produced by phillippe zdar, who has also worked with chromeo, phoenix, air, daft punk and cut copy. zdar is also one half of the duo cassius.

one of vahagns best friends (tiago from dfa, clearmont 56, golf channel, etc), has a residency at lisbons top club lux called trust. after attending one of these trust nights, this lisbon-based armenian musician arrived in his studio right after the club night and wrote the original material for this record in the course of a few hours. the result was so special, that soon groovement had it signed upon hearing, and contacted tiago to be the remixer for the track dedicated to him. a record with a story like this is bound to be good!
